Tim from Karaoke Home Entertainment takes a look at the premium models FLAC 36 and Hi-NET3600 from KBEATBOX to determine which model will suit your requirements best.
From the outset both models look fairly similar at face value with 200 Watts (RMS) Power Output, but hiding underneath the cloth front grill is a 8" vs a 10" Woofer on Hi-NET3600.
The bigger 10" woofer provides a little more BASS response, but honestly most people will not notice the difference, as both sound amazing at low and high volumes.
The major difference between these two models is that the Hi-NET3600 features the on-board Android operating system, so you don't need a Smart Phone, Laptop, Tablet or even a Smart TV to provide the karaoke audio-visuals, i.e. playing from a Karaoke App, Karaoke Streaming Service or YouTube Karaoke!
That's great for parties and makes the Hi-NET3600 karaoke powered system a true self-service karaoke solution because you don't need to share your phone or tablet around when its time to select songs.
Plus remember that the device (i.e. your phone) providing the audio-visual content will be the device showing your the lyrics, the audio will come through either KBEATBOX model be it via Bluetooth or one of the many other audio input modes.
Now that's fine with Laptop which can be outputed via HDMI to your TV but if that's your Phone or Tablet then thats the size of the screen for your karaoke lyrics as you hold it in your hand whilst singing.
If your using your Smart TV for the Karaoke then yes you have a big screen at your disposal and then you just connect the sound from the TV to any KBEATBOX model, again either by Bluetooth or one of the other methods (Optical, AUX Out, HDMI ARC.) and then you'll use your TV's remote control to select your songs.
And if that's you then I would recommend the FLAC 36 unless you really want the voice controlled option for selecting songs and the ability to save/store 2000 of your favourite songs, which only the Hi-NET3600 offers.
Now some of our customers don't have a Smart TV having opted for a Video Projector and then use a Chrome Cast or Apple Airplay device to stream the audio-visual to a sound system which in turn feeds the video back out to the projector.
In this the Hi-NET3600 excels as it connects to your WI-FI for the internet of things "Karaoke" or "NETLIX" etc and will directly output to your Projector via the HDMI Output.
Again if you don't have a Smart TV the Hi-NET3600 will bridge that gap for you as long as your TV has HDMI and you have WI-FI at your place your good to go!
...and yes, for both models, and all models in the KBEATBOX range you can pair your Smart devices via Bluetooth for audio streaming (as the default method) as Bluetooth is the most common way to pair your sound through them for singing or just listening to Spotify etc.
Both models also have Optical and AUX audio inputs, the FLAC 36 also has HDMI ARC.
The Hi-NET3600 has been very popular with customers with no Smart TV and who are using a video projector becuase of the Android OS and HDMI video output offering the perfect bridging solution.
But if you don't need these extra features as aforementioned that the Hi-NET3600 offers I would recommend saving the money and getting the KBEATBOX FLAC 36, you won't be disappointed with either!
